Celebrating Local Excellence
At The Adolphus, we celebrate locals by partnering with people and companies who are as passionate about what they do best as we are about hospitality.
Swoon, the Studio, has been our partner not only in design but also ideation. Swoon designed all the new and restored spaces during The Adolphus’s most recent renovations, and is responsible for such dazzling spaces as City Hall Bistro, Commerce and Otto’s.
At Otto’s, we’re proud to partner with Oak Cliff Coffee Roasters. They created our exclusive Adolphus blend of coffee and you can sample their coffee beans every time you order from Otto’s. We continue to consult with Oak Cliff owner Shannon on our coffee program.
Lucia Simek, a curator for the Nasher Sculpture Center, has masterfully edited the entire collection of artworks found in the French Room Salon, and hosts the monthly Salon Series, during which artists can speak about their work.
Oak Cliff-based Brass Tacks Barber operates our lobby Barber Shop, and specializes in classic cuts, straight-razor shaves and cold, classic beers.
At Commerce, guests can buy a custom Stetson called The Renard, designed by the iconic Garland, Texas-based hat manufacturer.
We also partner with Steven Visneau, our resident photographer, who embodies the sensibility and aesthetic of The Adolphus.
All of our partners collectively contribute to the unmistakable sense of style and place we hope all of our guests experience when they step across the threshold and into our legendary space.
